RteRme jewelry is designed to add a polished finishing touch to weddings, parties, special occasions and elevated everyday styling. To help protect your pieces and keep them looking beautiful, please follow the care instructions below.

How to care for your jewelry

Avoid spraying perfume, alcohol, hairspray or skincare products directly onto your jewelry.

Keep your jewelry away from water, lotions, oils, sweat and chemical products whenever possible.

Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, sleeping or cleaning.

Put your jewelry on after applying perfume, makeup, skincare or hair products.

After wearing, gently wipe each piece with a soft dry cloth.

Store your jewelry separately in a fabric pouch, jewelry box or dry compartment to help prevent scratches, tangling and friction.

Gold-plated and gold-tone jewelry

Gold-plated and gold-tone finishes require extra care. The plating is not guaranteed to last forever, and natural fading may occur over time.

How long the finish lasts depends on several factors, including how often the piece is worn, contact with water or chemicals, body perspiration and individual skin pH.

To help preserve the finish, keep your jewelry dry, clean it gently with a soft dry cloth and store it separately after wearing.

Pearl, glass and stone details

Pearl, glass and stone details should be handled with care. Avoid dropping, pulling, brushing or exposing them to water, perfume or chemicals, as this may affect the finish or setting.

Cleaning

For most RteRme pieces, we recommend cleaning only with a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasive brushes, baking soda, alcohol or harsh cleaning products on gold-plated, gold-tone, pearl or stone jewelry.
